  1. solution: dermaline skin whitening cream for dark skin spots.

it's safe without the harmful effects of hydroquinone, mercury or steroid.

  2. 1.When you exfoliate or scrub your body pay special attention to the knees and elbows. But don’t overdo it. Too much friction can cause skin darkening.

2.For a quicker result is bleaching on your dark spot. Trust me it works

  3. skin white is an amazing product. usually sold in afro shops. also purifies the skin.

  4. When you go for a shower always rub your knees and elbows and WATCH how your dead skin just peels off. This will help in lightening your knees and elbows becoz its the dead skin that's making your elbows and knees dark.

Before bed apply a equal mixture of lemon, rose water and glycerin with cotton wool ball. leave overnight wash in morning. :)

  5. TWO WORDS

    FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU WILL END UP DAMAGING YOUR SKIN, BLISTERS, YOUR SKIN WILL PEEL OFF, SCALDS, YOU NAME IT.

YOUR BORN WITH THE SKIN YOU'VE GOT, DON'T RUIN IT OR YOU MIGHT END UP LOOKING LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON.

  6. do you know what? everyones different,i get red cheeks 24/7 & i got over it! it wont affect your health!!!

id actually like dark elbows and knees myself they sound flattering!

  7. There are a couple of things you could do:

    1. U could use the lemon trick, it will lighten up your skin, but it will make it more sensitive, hence easily bruised.

    2. U could try sliced potatos and rub them on your knees and elbows, the juice from the potato has a whitening agent, just leave it on you over night.

    3. u should also use a body scrub at least once a week to remove all dead skin whiles in the bathroom.

    4. Moisturise these areas at least twice a day, morning and evening.

    5. The recommendation of cotton wool with glycerin and whatever it is, is also something i have heard off.

You could alos mix and match any of the above.

  8. Rubbing half a lemon, seems to be a popular way of lightening dark areas such as elbows and knees

  9. lemon is a myth. you should moisturize knees and elbows regularly (daily would be the best) or you can look for lightening cream when visiting at cosmetics shop.

  10. DONT use lemon!

    DO NOT!!!

use a cream specialized for it.

  11. asian and black women have this common problem. I have dark elbows and knees as well and i used to be self-concious about them. I used to cover them with jumpers and stuff. But when i gained a bit of confidence it was like it wasn't there anymore. The trick is to stop thinking about it.

It's your choice if you want to lighten them but with time and as you age they will get darker and bruised. google on effects of bleaching and lightening and you'll see what i mean.

hope this helps and make the right choice

  12. I have the same problem, but lotion seems to be a healthy way to help me a little bit.
