Question:

Dark stains on floor of fiberglass shower stall?

These are not rust stains - it looks like black dirt embedded on the slip proof surface of the stall. I've tried everything -softscrub, ammonia, scouring with brushes, etc. No luck. Anyone know what might work? Thanks in advance!

  1. I do not know if these black stains are similar to the ones I

experienced when I first moved into this house, but I was

bewildered on how to remove them, as I had tried just about

everything. Then, I do not know where I came across this

'remedy', but it WORKED! Maybe it will work for you too!

You need a unopened bottle of Hydr. Peroxide (why a new

bottle, I do not know, but it must be a new bottle of it!) and

some Dawn dish detergent, though it does seem to work

with any dish detergent. You pour both on the stains, and maybe brush it around, and wait. Leave it on for awhile,

and then wash down, and the stains are gone!

Does not take any labor or scrubbing at all. I was pretty skeptical of this 'solution' but tried it and it did the trick!

try it..Hope it works for you too!..... Good luck!
