Darren Bravo keen to return to cricket field – Cricket News Update
Following his recovery from a groin injury, West Indies batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DM-Bravo-c1386 has stated that while additional work needs to be done on his fitness and endurance, he is eager to take to the cricket field again.
“I am 100% fit, but there is still work to be done on my endurance and fitness,” Bravo told the
Trinidad Express. “But I am pain-free at this point in time. I am happy I went through the tough period and now I am looking forward to getting back on the field and performing.”
“I have been working extremely hard, waking up at 5.30 in the morning and doing my physical fitness ... things are looking up for me,” he added, explaining that he was working at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad, with his brother http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KA-Pollard-c1754,

Bravo sustained a groin strain during the West Indies’ first ODI against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 rules which do not allow runners, Bravo came in at number 9, but was unable to run with ease, managing
a meagre score of 8. The injury forced him to pull out of the ODI series (which his team lost 0-2) and fly home for recovery.

the Windies claimed a 2-0 win in the T20 series, followed it up with a 4-1 ODI win, and rounded off the Kiwis’ tour with a 2-0 Test victory.
“It is a great feeling to see the team playing good cricket at this point in time,” Bravo observed, in reference to the Windies’ recently improved performances.
The 23-year-old, however, will be expected to join his teammates very soon, for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 Cricket Board to name him in the
15-man squad for the mega event, where the Windies will be looking to continue their upward trend.
