The talented left-hander again showed his ability with the bat, scoring a match-winning unbeaten 72 in the recently concluded third ODI, which allowed the team comfortably chase down a 211-run target set by the tourists. Bravo has looked in prime nick throughout
the series, which included a maiden century in the opening game. It took him just 72 balls to reach that milestone, which included nine fours and four sixes.
He missed out in the second match, but managed to quickly turn around his form and prove his worth with another solid outing, which ultimately sealed a comprehensive series win. His innings, however, was subdued compared to his displays in the first ODI,
but Bravo said that his main aim was to carry his bat till the end.
"Today was the ideal opportunity for me and I went out there with that one goal in mind," Bravo said. "I just wanted to bat to the end and I knew if I was there at the end we would win the match and win the series 3-0."
Bravo also was relieved at the outcome of the results, after the hiding they suffered on their recent tour of Australia. The team lost all five ODI matches by comprehensive margins, with no one from the top order being able to offer consistency. Despite
the overwhelming margin of defeats in the 50-over arena, the Windies still proved their mettle in the T20 version, and gained a one-off victory by 27 runs.
"After coming back from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, where we didn't do very well, it was just a matter of me believing in myself and looking to make the most of the opportunities," he said. "I went out and backed myself and looked to execute the game plan. It was a matter
of understanding the situation and doing what was required for the team. "
The Windies will be now hoping to inflict further misery on their opponents when they contest in the first of two T20Is, which will be played at North Sound on March 2.
