West Indies batsman, Darren Bravo, has been ruled out of the rest of the ongoing One Day International series against England due to a groin injury.
The 23-year-old hard-hitting batsman sustained the groin injury while fielding during the opening One Day International of the three-match series at Southampton, on Saturday, which his side lost by 114 runs under the Duckworth Lewis
method, courtesy Ian Bell’s calculated ton (126 off 117). The left-hander was sent home on Monday for a detailed examination and rehabilitation programme. This was confirmed by the West Indies physiotherapist C.J. Clark in an official statement.
"Darren will undergo further medical investigation in T and T and a subsequent rehabilitation programme will be commenced following the review," said C.J. Clark on Monday.
The left-handed batsman had sustained the injury during England’s innings and faced difficulty in running during his 13-ball unbeaten cameo of 8 runs, towards the end of innings, as the updated http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 regulations do not allow runners

With just three games left, the tourists have decided not to call up a replacement for the injured Bravo.

on June 24.
