Scotland went on to draw their game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882, which has gone on to put their hopes of qualifying for the Euro 2012 in major doubt. The team was supposed to pick up all three points in the game in order to make it through to the next round, but due to some poor refereeing, it seems like the Scots are going to be robbed once again.
Kadlec went on to smack home a very late equalizing goal, but before the end of the game Berra was taken out in the box and the Scots. Despite it seeming like the player was taken out, the referee seemed to look the other way and didn’t seem to care much about the penalty.
Fletcher is amongst the numerous Scotland players and fans who feel robbed and hopes that there is some sort of redemption
Fletcher is quoted to have said: "Yeah of course we [feel robbed]"
"After the effort you put into the game, for the match to be decided by two [incorrect] refereeing decisions after the work and effort of the performance, it's really disappointing."
He then went on to add that he had a work with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-Wilson-c10234, but he stated that Rezek went on to make the most of what had happened. He also stated that he was right behind Fletcher, so he is well aware of the fact that it was a penalty, as the clip on Berra’s ankle was very evident.
"I spoke to Danny [Wilson] and he said that the lad [Rezek] made a meal of it. I was right behind Christophe [Berra] and he was definitely clipped and goes down and it was a definite penalty.
"How he can't give that after giving the first one was beyond me."
The midfielder then went on to state that the teams new focus was to go ahead and try and win their next game.
"We've been in leading positions twice and thrown them away, so there are things to learn from the game. All we can do is pull ourselves together and get ready for Tuesday."
