Darren Fletcher on his way back at Manchester United – English Premier League

After missing a large part of last season due to a virus, Fletcher is now on his way back to full fitness at Manchester United as the season is set to enter its toughest stage in a month or two. English Premier League season began
two weeks ago and Fletcher has already missed two of Manchester United’s English Premier League fixtures as Sir Alex Ferguson has opted to rest the Scotsman and play him with the reserve team squad.
Fletcher has been training with the first team and is close to attaining full match fitness which will be vital for Manchester United as European football is about to come about. The UEFA Champions League draw recently revealed
that Manchester United will be facing a relatively easier group than some of the other English clubs but Sir Alex will be gunning to get Fletcher back to full fitness. Darren Fletcher played a massive role in Manchester United’s run to the UEFA Champions League
final in 2009 when they lost to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the final in Rome.
Fletcher missed the final due to a booking that he picked up in the semi-final win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 but Sir Alex seems confident of incorporating Fletcher back into the Manchester United line up. Ferguson’s team made it to the UEFA
Champions League final last season as well but failed to get the better of Barcelona yet again and this summer Sir Alex has already invested in some new players as the likes of Ashley Young and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Jones-c29903 have already made an impact at Old Trafford.
United have been short of talent in the midfield department but the emergence of Thomas Cleverley has given rise to a new selection problem for Sir Alex Ferguson. United were chasing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 in the summer transfer window
but the Dutchman’s wage demands have killed the deal off for the English champions. Speaking about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Atlas-c38538,
was he? But he has put the weight back on; he is looking good and feeling terrific now."
The veteran manager also confirmed that Manchester United won’t be parting ways with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254, the Scotsman said, "We are not going to sell him, no way," he said. "Berbatov has been first class, he’s been tremendous, he’s
never complained one bit. When we come back [after the international break] the European games start up and Berbatov will be involved in that type of thing. He has the ability and experience to play a big part."
