After a run of consistent performances at the domestic level, Usman made his way to the Test team last year and played six matches; however, the stylish left-hander failed to make an impression as he just has one half-century under
his belt till date.
However, Lehmann believes that the youngster is a much improved cricketer now and will deliver the goods in international cricket this time.
“Technically there weren't too many changes, it was more a mindset with him and getting him to be really aggressive and positive in what he's doing. He's taken that on board. He has improved his fielding, he has improved his work ethic
off the ground and we're really pleased for him,” he added.
