Darren Pratley, the Bolton Wanderers midfielder, has revealed in a recent interview that he believes his side can avoid relegation at the end of the season.
After their defeat to Manchester City in the English Premier League over the weekend, Bolton Wanderers remain in the bottom three of the English Premier League table. They are currently just two points above the bottom place side Wigan Athletic.
While they are highly likely to face relegation and find themselves in the Championship next season, Pratley believes they have a chance to avoid the drop zone. Since there are currently five teams fighting for survival, the 26-year-old was certain they
could make it through.
There are currently eight points that separate 15th placed Aston Villa with 16th placed Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Bolton Wanderers were on their
way to a revival which was brought to an end by their poor form.
Owen Coyle’s men have now gone on to lose four fixtures in a row but they now face the bottom half sides in the upcoming fixtures, which gives them a chance to improve their standing in the Premier League in the remaining matches.
Bolton Wanderers face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, a fixture which could see them climb out of the relegation zone if they manage a win. They then travel to Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with a fixture against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385 in the middle.
Pratley revealed he was not underestimating the upcoming fixtures but was confident his side could manage to climb out of the relegation zone.
Pratley said in an interview:
“We've got 11 cup finals now and we've got to try our best to stay in the league.
There are five teams playing for two spots now. I think things can change and we can start picking up points.
The dressing room is strong. The manager has got us focused and he gives us so much belief. Hopefully we can repay him. We've got to win, no matter what now.
Bolton being in the Premier League is the only thing that matters at the minute.”
