After a 2-0 defeat in the three-match Test series at the hands of England, the West Indies skipper, Darren Sammy, hopes his team would make a turnaround in the one-day leg of the tour, starting at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, from June 16.
"Everybody's really excited about this one-day series and everybody believes we should beat England," said Sammy after persistent rain washed out the final day of the Edgbaston Test without a ball being bowled. "We are quite confident as a one-day team,"
he added further.

"In Test cricket, where you need a lot of concentration, it might take more time for us to get back and win games consistently because we've been losing at that level for a long time," said Sammy. "We are more confident as a team playing one-day and T20
cricket," he added further.
