The West Indian skipper, Darren Sammy, has said that they will try to emulate their world cup performance against Bangladesh when they play the Bengali Tigers at home next week.
"The last time we played, we got the better of them," said Sammy while talking to the media reporters after his team reached Bangladesh. "We'll try to repeat such a performance, but you can't bowl out teams under 100 every
game,” the visiting skipper added further.
In a Group B match against Bangladesh in the 2011 http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup earlier this year, the Sammy-led Caribbean side had rolled over the Bengali Tigers for just 58 runs before going on to win the match by nine wickets. The memories
of that humiliating crushing must be fresh in the minds of the Bengalis, who must be eager to avenge the Windies in the upcoming home series.
The on tour skipper however, is well aware of the fact that the Tigers could be extremely destructive at home and said that they would not take the hosts as an easy opposition.
"They are a good side at home, winning quite comfortably against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 all-rounder.
The last time both sides had played each other in a bilateral series was in 2009 when Bangladesh toured West Indies and thwarted a weakened Windies side in both the Tests and ODIs.
The Windies skipper was not happy about the absence of the Decision Review System for the series.
"For us the DRS has been a very good inclusion in the game," said Sammy. "It's unfortunate that we don't have it in this series. Whatever could be made possible to eliminate errors in the game, we'd welcome it," he added further.
In the tour starting on October 11, the Caribbean side will play one T20 International, three One Day Internationals and two Test matches.
