The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first on a surface, which was expected to help the slow bowlers. The Caribbean men, who possess one of the finest limited-over batting line-ups of the world, failed to live up to the expectations and were bowled out for merely 199 runs in the 47th over of the innings.
