According to recent reports, West Indies Captain Darren Sammy has revealed that the player hopes to see his side amongst the world’s top 5 Test rankings by 2015.
Sammy cited that for the Windies to achieve this mark, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gordon-James-Muchall-c60376 focus will be laid on bringing in professional culture, concentrating on better fitness and bringing fresh members on the squad.
The captain added that his tenure as the Test captain has so far been a colorful journey; primarily due to the fact that the player came in at a time when the side was going through squad readjustments alongside player debacles with the West Indies Cricket
Board (WICB).
Sammy’s ambition, however, originates from the team’s previous performances and the untouched potential the team players hold.
The player, therefore, hopes to bring in a professional attitude in the squad and maintain good form as part of the team’s agenda.
"I believe the fitter you are, the more right decisions you will make. You will not cramp up under pressure. Being in the top five by 2015 and building a strong team that will go out and compete against anybody are also part of the plan” added Sammy.
