Darver Bo Bo all set for the Betfred Steel City Cup Trial Stakes – Dup
The three-year-old Darver Bo Bo is getting a chance to pair up wins by bagging the Betfred Steel City Cup Trial Stakes – Dup on Tuesday, 24th July at Sheffield over 500 metres flat. His rankings have been fluctuating lately but none has been able to put a grave scar on the record. Contesting for the £200 prize money are Trickys Biscuit, Slaneyside Baron, Bucks Blade, Master Mac and Goodview Ted.
The three-year-old black dog cracked into the new season with a success in the Grade A2 470 metres flat race on 4th January, 2012 at Belle Vue. Leashing out of the third gate, the three-year-old ran on and concluded the race impressively in 28.93 seconds while leading by a neck’s margin.
The C. Morris trained won the Grade A2 470 metres flat race on 11th January, 2012 at Belle Vue. The favourite entry led from the fourth position and crossed the wire from the middle in 28.71 seconds.
Qualifying as the runner-up right behind was, Miss Penelope.
On 2nd March, 2012, he won as the evening’s favourite in the Grade A2 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue. Brett Lee’s son led from the fourth spot and then finished from the middle in 28.21 seconds. The three-year-old defeated the runner-up, Westpoint Barney, by four lengths and he timed the track distance in 28.53 seconds.

The favourite entry was quick to race away and then led for the rest of the way timing the track distance in 27.76 seconds and winning by the margin of 1 ¾ lengths.
The three-year-old then won the Grade A1 462 metres flat on 16th June, 2012 at Kinsley by reaching the other end of the wire in 27.75 seconds.
His final success until now was in the Grade A1 462 metres flat race on 14th July, 2012 at Kinsley. Setting into an early pace and then leading from three quarters got Darver Bo Bo the race in 27.40 seconds.
His chances of prevailing today are 11 to 2.
