Took 1mg of klonopin today, can i still take a darvocet?

  1. It depends on the condition for which you are being given Klonopin. If you have been given a prescription for both medicines, and your primary physician is aware of both prescriptions, then it should be all right.


  2. Darvocet is for pain.  Klonopin is for anxiety or panic attacks.  They may be contra-indicated (can't be taken together) but your doctor should have checked that out before giving you a prescription for both.  If the doctor doesn't catch it, the pharmist might if you go to the same pharmacy for both drugs.  The easiest thing is just to give the pharmacy a call and ask.  Takes about 30 seconds.  Personally, I've taken both of those drugs together (legally prescribed and never noticed any ill=effects), but everybody's different and what's OK for one person could be awful for another.  Just ask.
