Darwinian theory suggests that all animates share their origin, then, what if a dog smiles like human beings?

  1. It is not really having to do with Darwin, it is the antropomorphization (or believing that the object/animal in question is like a human).

    Dogs do not smile, we think they do.  Some animals are smart enough to learn to do certain things in order to make humans like them or give them food or attention. So they perform this "trick", but it is not in their nature.

    We also have canine teeth.

    For someone who is obviously familiar with Darwin, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned his ''tree of life'' theory.

Dude, that makes no sense.  Dogs don't smile.  Evolution is absolutely proven by any reasonable doubt.  Why would someone assume that a dog smiles.  I have seen dogs taught to smile on Americas Funniest Home Videos and it is a funny thing to see.  One of the ancestors of humans, probably in that last 20 million years started some sort of facial expression that approximated smiling.  Probably in the last few million years, just my opinion, the smile became associated with the emotions that humans recognize.  To the rest of animals it may even be a threat.
