if that is stated in Dad's will, and the will was done and signed willingly by Dad, it is.  however, the reasons why no money was left to the children (I assume this is part of the problem) should have been included in the will.  if not, the children can ask the court if they have been unduly disadvantaged (can be sign of cruelty by parents).  the court will have final say.
