Dashboard light went off?

i drive 2005 Mercedes Benz S430 i was sitting in the car and the dashboard lights went off idk what happen the rest of light inside the car work (cd, navigation,ac etc they all work) just the dashboard lights went off i cant see the speed meter gas level and other gages. i can see litttle bit cuz there is box in da dashboard that tell what song its playing etc that i can see dim but all the gages there out cant see anything. i have no clue about car not even little bit can some one plz be kind enough and help me?

Some cars have an instrument cluster dimmer, which it is sometimes easy to bump it and move to the minimum briteness. look around on the dash for it, it sometimes looks like it is almost flush with the dash.

If you have the owners manual, it should help you locate it!

It may be that simple, It has happened to me before!
