Dashboard speakers are blown out. How do I know which replacement speakers to get? Do I measure the speaker?

I own a 1996, 4 door, Geo Tracker. I love blaring music, so if you can help me with which brand of speakers works well and are cheap, that could help me out a lot too. I just don't know if they have to be a certain size to fit in the dashboard, or any other speaker outlet in my car.

I'm clueless about this.

take them out and measure one. its prolly a 3'' or 3x5''. then run to walmart and get some aftermarket replacements

yes you need a specific size most likely crutchfield.com will help you find out what size the speakers are, but dont bother looking on there to buy speakers cause that site is overpriced. check out these sites for good prices
