Data on Att phone service? Help!?

ok sooo i have unlimited text messaging on atandt but i dont have any features for data/mulitmedia will using IM be charged for data/mulitmedia ONLY or is that for both unlimited text messaging only and there will be no charge?

im confused please explain thoroughly!!

If you just have the unlimited text message feature it does NOT cover multimedia messages as stated by the previous person and you cannot do them unless you have an internet feature as well.  The IM does use standard text messages though so your feature will cover that

since you have unlimited...that includes EVERYTHING im, text, mulitmedia, and just all messages that the phone can do...if you use the im, youll be on the unlimited package and it wont charge you for data
