Question:

Database ordrering bug?

Sorting seems to be working fine for words, but it seems to fail when you have numbers.

My records start with number - 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B and so on, and while numbers are sorted correctly, the second letter, which should be used next, is not. Every record is entered randomly once it is sorted by first number.

Anyone noticed that as well? It does sound like a bug to me.

  1. Yes, that is correct. The database expects the first character to be a letter. It's not as sophisticated as a regular database.
