Dating in college without a car?

I'm a senior in college and there's a girl I'd like to ask out on a date. We both go to school in a fairly large city, so the majority of students don't bring cars. I don't have mine here, but I think she has hers, and I feel a little weird asking her out. It isn't uncommon but I feel kinda weird using public transit on a first date. Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks.

Sh*t? Where are you plannin on takin her? Some romantic dinner or a movie? You don't need a car to get a girl just bring her out for coffee or a walk in the park. If she is going on a date w/ you she wants to get to know u. She can eat and watch a movie anytime.

She'll understand that you don't have a car, but if you feel werid try to take her some place in walking distance! There is probably something going on around campus too. Plus, going some where too over the top will be an awkward first date, something casual and fun where you guys can talk a lot will be ideal!

Why don't you just tell her ..... and see what she says but for sure i wouldn't want to ride the bus on the first date

maybe borrow a friends car. but make sure you get to ask her out either way! maybe yu guys can meet up somewhere perhaps. you can also let her know you don't have your car with you. If se accepts atleast you know shes interested in you evenw without your car! just remember to go for it
