Dating with ESL learner (English Second Language)?

I was thinking bout it today. I met this girl and I notice she prefer to speak chinese then English, but she was pretty. Though I chinese also, I don't speak the language. Is there a chance I can ask her out?

This could be a chance for you to learn your ancestor's language while helping her improve at english.

In the end, it's her choice. A lot of "traditional" Chinese people have trouble relating to people who share their heritage but don't speak the language.

As with any girl you want to date, be yourself (honest, caring, blah blah blah)

Have you thought about taking a Chinese class (after knowing what dialect she speaks as there are many) so that you can at least say a few things in her language?
