What time should my 2yr old daughter go to bed?? Usually she stays up until about 10pm and watches Little Einstien or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with me. Then I try to put her to bed but if she gets up I let her sit with me until she falls asleep. What is the ideal she should go to bed??

BTW I'm a 16yr old guy.

  1. at 2 my nephews bed time is 8:30pm and he wakes at 8am.

little kids need alot of sleep. if she gets up tell her it is bed time and put her back in bed.

The next time she gets up dont say anything and put back to bed.

Do this till she stays in bed.

  2. probably earlier unless she takes long naps or wakes up later

  3. Hi there.

Does your daughter have a nightly routine in place? If not it would be easier to get her to bed at a reasonable time if she does. I have two children (14 months and 3 and a half years) and they both have dinner around 5:30pm then a bath around 6pm and a story and cup each of milk and then my youngest goes to bed around 7pm and the eldest goes to bed around 8pm. How much sleep is she having per night? If she is waking up late in the day maybe start getting her up a bit earlier in the morning so that way (hopefully) she might be asleep by say 7pm or something like that.

    Best of luck. :)

  4. I think 10 is a bit late for her age..i would say 9pm since she is awake so late now you dont want to put her down 2 hrs earlier now she will never sleep...if she doesnt seem real tired then give her a bath with some of that nighttime bubble bath I think johnson and johnson makes to calm her down and give her a glass of warm milk, then read her a bedtime story and tell her to go to sleep...if she gets up tell her no and thats it. Tell her that everyone is going to bed now so she has to to.

  5. If you're telling the truth good job at taking care of your daughter. What time she goes to sleep depends on when you want her awake. If ya put her to sleep at 8am then she'll be up really early...It all depends on when you want her to awake

  6. my son is 2 also, he has to go to bed at 9 everynight, no getting out of bed. i think that having a bedtime routine helps them alot.

  7. My lil girl will be 2 in November and she has a bedtime of 8pm.........

She then wakes up between 8-9 in the morning......

  8. Depends on what time she wakes up, she should be getting atleast 10 hours of sleep at night
