Daughter been in Brazil since 27 dec, her insurance has run out - who will insure her as shes out of uk?

Her present insurance company will not extend the cover and new companies wont offer insurance as she is already out of the country. Does anyone know of a company who will offer travel/health insurance?

You might have a bit of a problem. Most travel insurance companies will not sell a travel insurance policy to someone who has already left. The best she can hope for is to find an insurer in Brazil who can offer a "Visitor to Brazil" travel medical plan. There will be a wait period that has to pass before she can file a claim so the sooner she does this the sooner the wait period can expire.

There are several companies that offer travel insurance, but only if your daughter is really travelling and not just living outside the country.

Look on the internet, but companies such as Columbus should be able to provide cover.
