  1. Normally a cold would not run that high of a fever. It's better to get her in and checked out and it be nothing than to just let it go. You could have taken her into the ER, but as we all know those visits can be more costly and just as timely as waiting for the doctor. My son has had pinkeye and an ear infection in the past 2 weeks, and I ended up at the doctor with him 3 different times (One ER visit and 2 normal doctors office visits). I'm a nursing assistant and feel like having him in there that often is far too much, but if I am unsure he goes to the doctor straight up. I'd rather have it be nothing than turn into something horrible.

  2. yeah, you did the right thing by calling the doctor..... but if you wait until 3 o'clock to have her seen by a doctor, you should be reported to human services for child neglect.  Get you *** to the doctor STAT.

  3. You can give her paracetamol for kid and plenty of water as remedies. Since I not a doctor but that from your that she had a cold fever running nose its cold fever. But see a doctor it will relief your stress.I usually give it to my kids with that kind of fever. Sick call

  4. You did the right thing. Your daughter will probably be fine in a few days, but I know how scary it is when your little one is sick.

  5. yes you did good

  6. You did the right thing! When it comes to children, always call your doctor first.  As far as fever, give the child directed dosage of Tylenol or Motrin. 2nd, get some pedilyte popsicles for her to suck on so she wont get dehydrated between throwing up. That will at least keep her hydrated. if she can not hold any thing down. As far as nose running, if it gets chapped rub a little vaseline on it so it doesnt hurt every time she blows it. Little tricks to help before seeing the doctor, or after. And make sure she washes her hands, and you spray lysol all over the place.

  7. Always call the doctor when your child has a fever. Always, you did very good. I hope she feels better by the way. I hate it when my kids get sick, I am a mother of nine children. My youngest being just a few months old.

She could and most likely just has a cold, but it could be something more. I hope its just a cold.

Take her to the doctor, and good luck.

  8. yes you did high fever and vomiting  call a doc hope the child can hold down some tylenol  let her sleep if thats all she wants to do and make her drink as much as she can

  9. you did do the right thing because it does sound like a cold and it's always better safe then sorry, but don't worry too much, children typically run higher fevers then adults!
