ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS, Thanks. Adelhied was my 31st Grandmother. I have a source that Adelhied, von Lothringen was born to Charles, Duke of Lower Lorraine and Bonne, Countess D'Arrdennes. Unfortunately, I can't find any mention of her. All my sources verify that Bonne was the third wife of Charles, but do not mention Adelhied. Although, his second wife was Adelaide and they had 5 children, an Adelaide being the first born, could this be really Adelheid, seeing there is also no info on her.

My sources state:

Adelheid von Lothringen married count Albert I von Namur. Can anyone point me in the right direction. There is speculation tha Adelheid was the daughter of Godfrey I, Count of Verdun, but again there is no mention of this. It is also believed that Charles and Bonne's relationship was illegitimate. Would it be possible that the birth of a child was covered up by Charle's father Louis IV? My sources swear this info is accurately researched through family records. Suggestions.

You can't find the link because Adelheid was usually recorded in records as "Ermengarde". Remember the Lothringen was the German name for the area, but Lorraine was the French name. You're getting caught between the two languages where there's a nuance to the name of the same person.

The relationship between Charles and Bonne was quite legitimate. This was the era of extreme superstition and anything unnaturally against God was tantamount to death. Adelheid was a Habsburg and if you go to a good library and pull a book on the history of the Habsburgs, I'm sure you'll find well-sourced documentation to put the speculation to rest.

I pulled this from a Dutch genealogy resource. It's not in English, but the genealogy should be easy to follow. Just change "Karel" to "Charles", etc.

echtgenote Emma van een verhouding met Albero, bisschop van Laon sinds 16 januari 977, had beschuldigd. Wendt zich tot Otto II en verkrijgt Nederlotharingen. (Thionville mei 977.) neemt deel aan de vergeldingsactie van Otto II tegen West Francia in 978. Bouwt een sterkte tussen de twee armen van de Zenne en wordt daardoor als de grondlegger van Brussel beschouwd. Na eerst met Otto II tegen Lotharius geageerd te hebben, keert hij zich met Lotharius tegen Otto III. Na de dood van Lotharius en diens zoon Lodewijk (987) maakt Karel opnieuw aanspraken op de troon maar wordt door de edelen onder leiding van Adelbero, aartsbisschop van Reims sinds 969, geweigerd ten faveure van Hugo Capet die op 3 juli 987 gekroond wordt. Adelbero sterft kort daarna in begin 988 en Karel probeert het opnieuw. Krijgt door Arnulf zowel Laon als Reims in handen maar wordt dan door dezelfde Arnulf verraden en uitgeleverd aan Hugo Capet die hem en zijn gezin in Orléans gevangen zet. Trouwt 1. ca. 970 met NN, dochter van Rodbert van Troyes (?) overl. voor 987 en 2. Adelheid ?? overl. na 991. Het eerste huwelijk bleef kinderloos, Uit het tweede huwelijk:
