Green is another one of my favourites,if this fight were at light welter in 1977,ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL,who do think would have won??

Davey Boy Green had much better boxing skills, faster hands and could take a better shot.......................................

Talk about two guys who were nearly mirror images of each other!  I believe that Green is a little tougher than Hatton and would have dominated the fighting on the inside.  Hatton would fight back bravely but the majority of the harder punches would be landed by Green who also would win a close but unanimous decision.

Davey "Boy" Green would be the tougher of two tough kids so I'd say he stops Hatton in round 12 or 13 of a bruising battle when Ricky isn't able to take any more punishment on the inside and collapses on the ropes.
