Ok so I wanted to do a fun double dinner-date with my boyfriend, my cousin and her boyfriend. I was thinking D&B because it has games and food... the whole package. I was wondering how D&B works.. do you buy tokens to use on the games? How much are they? Otherwise how do you play games? How many tokens does a game usually cost?

Also, did you even like D&B? Why or why not?

Thanks so much!

  1. You can get a powercard and have the money to play the games put on the card that way you dont have to worry about tokens and you just swipe the card in the game you want to place and you can keep the card for the next time you go. I loved it and have been several times. It can be expensive so I would give myself a limit to spend on the game playing and as far as the food goes I thought that it was pretty good also.

  2. its very expensive but it's a awesome place good choice, call db place they will be able to answer your questions genuis

  3. I went there on a date to me it was a lil over rated maybe because the guy I went on a date thought he can kick my @ss in every game well I won in every game and it was fun the food I didnt try only the drinks

  4. u buy a card wit points on it n u spend it on really cool prizes! they start at 1 dollar n go up to fifty! it depends on how much points u want to play! theres tons of games to play! dont worry, u will find a game in ur interest! around 2 or 3 points! i luv d&b! its so much fun n its worth it! theres so many different games to play that u cant choose! hope this is wat ur lookin for....

  5. You can buy a card with a bunch of tokens with it.

I personally HATED D&B I spent like 50 bucks on the games and at the end won 2 tootsie rolls!! I will never go there again!!! The food was...ok not that great the pizza was kind of was old. If i were you i would go some where else!

    Good Luck to you!

  6. i like the games right now they have a deal if u wana eat u get a 10 dollar powerccard and a entrie for 15$!! there food is really expensive so tis is a good deal! or a 20$ powercard and an entrie for 23$!! there foods not to goos but this is a good deal!

  7. My wife and I finished our first date at the first Houston D&B (after we had dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant). I've eaten there before, but she hasn't. The food is generic restaurant fare, like you'd get at a TGIFridays or similar.

You can still buy tokens, but it is easier to buy a card and charge it up. Every time you play a game that amount is deducted from your balance.

The thing is, we don't go there anymore. The clientele has changed, and gotten a lot more... I hate to use the word, but "ghetto."
