  1. If I could get well paid for pretending to be good at something I would  jump at the chance.

  2. We agree you are an idiot.

  3. I think dave pelz is a genious. He has helped thousands get lower scores on the course. If you don't like his words, try butch harmon tapes, or hank haney. You can also try your local golf pro. See how good of a golfer they are compared to how they teach.

  4. Dave Pelts?! Wow...it's not even correct phonetically....

First of all he's a genius...he's figured a way to apply his knowledge of math and organizational process into putting and chipping (I believe he was a rocket scientist or something prior to becoming a short game guru)

So I do not agree with you, I think he's made a great contribution to the game of golf.

  5. DAVE PELTS?

He is the best short game teacher in golf!

he gets alot of acknowledgements from Phil Mickelson.

Have you seen him putting it in either 100ft or 300footer putt

at one of the British Opens?

    That guy is a genius.

That person knows something that we don't

  6. I think that its funny that you call him an idiot when you cant even spell his name correctly.

  7. Sorry, but I cannot buy your premise that Dave is an  idiot. But I can buy the fact that James w is. First of all the name is PELZ not Pelts. Secondly, according to the Golf Digest listing of America's best teachers of golf, Pelz ranks 5th. I would say that is a fairly good ranking considering there are approximately 10,000 teaching golf professionals in the US alone. Make sure you know your subject before you go spouting off.

  8. yes

  9. Dave Pelz is actually very good at what he does. As many people have mentioned, he's on of the best golf instructors in the world, and arguably the best when it comes to the short game (Chipping and putting). He did work for NASA, and has applied a lot of scientific methods to his teachin, with a lot of strange training aids, and a LOT of statistical analysis. Which is one of the reasons why he works so well with Phil Mickelson, who is also an admitted tech nerd.

However, I do find the man ANNOYING AS h**l!! and I don't think many people can stomach him very well.

  10. Ever heard the expression,"If you can't do, teach"? You don't need to be a top level player to teach top level players. Plus, he's not exactly a spring chicken anymore. He's probably a very fine golfer for his age.

Dave Pelz may not me a great player, but he's one of the best teachers of the game in the world. I don't know what you're trying to prove with this post.

  11. Great "question", this debate will move humanity forward no end.
