Dave and Busters,who's been there?

I've never been there and was thinking of going there for a first date with a coworker any opinions about that place peoples?

I would say its a good place for a first date if you still not sure about the person.  The food is good and it provides entertainment no matter how the date is going..  If your digging the person, you can hang out closer to him.  If you not, you can play games independently.  They have an area for quiet dining if you want or you can eat in the gaming area.  If you want to have drinks after again you have the option of the game floor or a quiet area.

I have been there, and it is a lot of.  Just be prepared to spend at least $100 for the evening.  The food is decent; just unimaginative.  Mostly burgers and fried things.  The games are a lot of fun, but most cost $2 to $5 a piece to play.

ive been there a bunch of times. there are a lot of kids running aroun, unless you go  at night. it is mainly arcade games. they have a bar abd a place to eat. you can be yourself and enjoy the time with the one that you are with.

there is alot of noise but it is all worth while when you think it over.

it really depends on you and your date.  the one i went to had a virtual theatre(that was really cool),arcade of course, dining, and on fri-sat after 7 or 8 pm the kids under 18 had to leave.  they also had fake gambling tables like blackjack, c**p table, poker.  food was good and drinks ok.  so you'll be able to chill out and talk, and play some games.  good luck

I have been there.

The thing that I do not like about that is that it is expensive. my family and friends went there with ten pen people, and it costed around $160 because if you get a around $25 meal you get 100 credits (things you can play video games and other stuff with), but it is fun. i will have to tell you that. If you go there, and order pop they will give you a refill, but if you order juice you do not get a free refill, unless they let you. (they did for my group anyway) hope you make the right decision!

I actually met my husband at a Dave & Busters.  We were at a mutual friend's brithday party.  We ended up sitting across a table from each other & talked for a while, then ended up playing pool together.  I think it's a great place for a first date, because the food, drinks, arcade games, billards, prizes, etc all give you things to talk about.  You can use those things to learn a lot about each other.  It is a bit pricy, but then so is dinner & a movie lately... and that's not half as fun!

it's like an adult chuck e cheese... with the game aspect... you dont have to play games, but that might lighten up the mood a bit... i expected to get a portion that was slightly bigger for the price i paid... but i'd go there again .. it was a good time.
