David Alaba: I am happy at Bayern Munich- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416, has expressed his desire to stay at the Allianz-Arena from next season onwards. The player decided against a second loan move to Hoffenheim and wanted to make his mark while staying in Munich.
He was talking at the conclusion of the club’s training session and had the full backing of his manager, Jupp Heynckes.
The Austrian international enthused that he had an outstanding loan spell at Hoffenheim but wanted to stay back in Munich and make a name for himself. He admitted about the fact that it would be difficult to break his way into
Munich’s first team line-up but seemed determined to fight his way to get amongst the big boys. Alaba mentioned that he had been training hard ever since returning from Hoffenheim and is looking forward to represent Munich any time during the next season.
“I feel very comfortable at Bayern Munich. I have come home and I am glad to be here. You never know what will happen but I am now fully concentrated on what is important, which is to perform consistently for Bayern,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview.
Jupp Heynckes on the other hand told that he wanted Alaba to be back amongst the club’s rank prior to the start of the new season. He also hailed the performance of the 19-year-old in a recently held European Championship qualifier
against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and hoped that the player could keep the same composure and form for the whole of the next campaign.
“I am aware that there is a lot of competition and that I am behind quite a few players. However, it is clear that I want to play and I can play well for Bayern,” he concluded.
Alaba made his way into Bayern Munich’s senior side in 2010 and made five league appearances before making a loan move to Hoffenheim in 2011. There he made 17 Bundesliga appearances, bagging two goals in return. The player made
his Austrian debut in 2009 and has eight international caps under his belt so far.
