“There was a bit of nerves, but I enjoyed coming on, I really want to play with the likes of Ibra," Beckham said.
Beckham said that after coming on, for the first few minutes he couldn’t feel his feet but the player got settled after that and feels that he did well out there.
"Mind, I couldn't feel my feet for the first two or three passes; they were frozen from sitting on the bench.”
Talking about his future at the cash-laden club from Paris, the former Real Madrid player said that he would do everything to push for a place in the starting eleven but he knows that he needs more time to get back to his best
form.
“Of course I want to push for a place in the starting eleven, but I don’t expect it as I’ve done nothing for seven weeks. It’s taken me a while to get back up to speed.”
Meanwhile, coach, Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that the 37-year-old might start in Paris Saint-Germain’s next game.
“He brought his passing quality, experience and tactical positioning to the game. He might start on Wednesday.”
