David Beckham is eyeing to return to his homeland for club football. Although the former English International is whisker close to move to his favourite Premier League however, he won’t join Manchester United. Harry Redknapp, the manager for Tottenham Hotspur
revealed that he is set to sign Beckham on loan. Top class midfielder has shown his interest to join Manchester United again but is unlikely move there. Sir Alex Ferguson shut the door for the veteran and has insisted that there is no place for the football
icon. This gives the opportunity to other teams to land Beckham who is keen to return to England.
Redknapp commented on this scenario and showed his interest to sign Beckham. The manager said “It's whether Galaxy will let him go on loan. If they did, we'd be interested and plenty of others would be as well. He'd be a good influence to have, the type
of lad you want at your club and he'd give the whole place a lift. He's been a fantastic player and he is someone the players would look up to and respect. And I still think he can do a job for sure.”
David Beckham played 11 years with Manchester United and was mighty successful with the club. In his 265 appearance as a Red Devil, he scored 62 goals and won nine major silverwares. His career ended with Manchester United after multiple frictions with the
manager Sir Alex Ferguson. In his last season he was often side-lined for the matches as Ole Gunnar Solskjær started to replace him at the right flank. Things got worse when the manager kicked a boot in the changing room that hit Beckham over his eye, resulting
in a cut that was stitched afterwards.
His return to England will be a big happening in English Premier League and will certainly attract a lot of media attention. This might distract him from the football however, Tottenham’s boss ruled out this problem. Harry Redknapp might be closing his eyes
