David Beckham keen and hopeful to join his national team
The English soccer legend and play maker David Beckham is still keen and confident to play for the English national team. Very recently the 35-year-old veteran midfielder had insisted that he is always available for English national football team and is
waiting for the call.
In a very recent interview the ace L.A Galaxy midfielder, David Beckham expressed his emotions and thoughts for the England team and said that he loves to play for England and he is always available to be selected for the national squad.
Moreover David Beckham has also announced that he will not leave the L.A Galaxy football team until his contract with the club ends. It is also to be noticed that Beckham’s contract with the American football club L.A Galaxy will end in 2011.
David Beckham started his playing career in the year 1996. He is considered as one of the most famous and admired sports celebs of England. He has played in one hundred and fifteen matches for England. His fan following in England and from all around the
globe is quite overwhelming.
The views of Fabio Capello about David Beckham were also strongly criticized by the media and by football fans as well. Currently the former England team’s skipper is hoping to be selected to play for the English national team.
The Italian Boss of the English team Fabio Capello said during an interview that the career of Beckham is over and very soon he will play his farewell match for the national team. After the interview the Italian manager was strongly criticized by the football
fans as well as by the media. It is also to be notified that the English has still not been able to show very impressive results under the manager-ship of Capello.
Very recently Capello had said that the England football team needs new players but all the available options will be considered as every in-form player can be selected for the Euro Cup.
On the other hand, Beckham has refused all the statements about him being old and not fit to play. Beckham has also refused to give up his hopes of being selected for the national team again. It is also to be noticed that Beckham’s last played for the England
side in the match against Belarus in October 2009 and after that he has not been able to impress selectors to be included in the team.
The former England skipper has also been suffering from injury problems and this is probably the most important factor which is keeping him away from the national playing squad.
The 35-year-old said that everybody is very well aware of the fact that he is very passionate about football. He added that he loves to play for his country and he will try to improve his physical fitness to get selected and play for England. Beckham further
said that it is now up to the manager of the team to examine him and to select him. Becks remarked that currently he is trying his level best to stay fit and a play good football and that all he can do to satisfy the manager.
Beckham is currently playing in the famous LA Galaxy football club and his contract with the club will end next year. When he was asked about his plans of leaving the LA Galaxy the English veteran said that he is very happy to play with the club and he will
stay with the club till the end of his contract. Becks later added and told that his family is happily living in United States and he is not willing to leave LA Galaxy.
The future of David Beckham with the English national football team still seems a little dubious but his return to the national squad is very eagerly awaited by his fans.
