David Beckham pays tribute to Sir Alex and terms him as his father figure at Manchester United– English Premier League

big break in club football. Beckham enjoyed tremendous success at Old Trafford as he won six English Premier League titles, two Football Association Cups along with a single UEFA Champions League triumph in 1999.
Beckham eventually left Manchester United for Real Madrid in the summer of 2003 but the effect that Sir Alex has had on his career as a whole has been drastic to say the least. In the end, Beckham’s departure was caused by a rift
between him and Sir Alex but both the men are on good terms now as Beckham visits Old Trafford quite frequently.
In his latest interview Beckham said that he has a lot of respect for Sir Alex Ferguson because of what he has done at Manchester United over the past few years along with the fact that he gave him a chance to play for Manchester
United on a regular basis, which was a dream come true for the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 captain.
He added, “My parents brought me up to a certain level and then Sir Alex took over. There were a lot of people along the way. Eric Harrison, Nobby Stiles, Brian Kidd, but Sir Alex was the man who gave me my chance. He wanted to
kill me at times, I’m sure, but he was a father figure to me and he was also the man who gave me the chance of playing for my dream club."
David Beckham has been one of the best players that emerged during Ferguson’s 25 year era at Manchester United, he has been an example of Sir Alex’s winning mentality and the never say die attitude. The Englishman has played for
A.C Milan and Real Madrid ever since his departure from Old Trafford and now he is plying his trade in MLS with L.A Galaxy. Beckham concluded his remarks by saying that when he first came to Manchester United, the club was a like a big family and that is what
made him want to play for the Red Devils.
