nah there is no GBR football team due to how the UK is divided so there is a Scottish, English and Welsh football team, they cannot merge all 3 football teams so simply and if they were to do that all of the players would be from the England football team as they are the better of the 3.

either way in football the olympics means nothing, the world cup and european champs are the BIG competitions, so the fact we have no olympic football team means very little to us.

BTW i think alot of you are forgetting David Beckham isnt american, you talk about him like he's your hero because he plays for galaxy, whereas im sure if GBR did have a football team he would be the least of your concern unless your obsession is so great. its nothing to do with him being a professional footballer otherwise why would other teams have professional players on them.
