David Beckham will make a decision soon about where he will play his football next season.

 
West Ham are in the running for the 35-year-old,who currently plays in the United States for Los Angeles Galaxy, and Beckham has promised he will make a decision soon.

 
Scott Parker has been offered £20million to stay at West Ham. The club have already turned down a bid from Tottenham Hotspur, but Parker has desires on playing European football. Meanwhile, manager Avram Grant wants Laurent Bonnart, who is a free agent after leaving French champions Marseille.

Roy Hodgson wants to bring Aston Villa’s Stiliyan Petrov to Liverpool as a replacement for the departing Javier Mascherano. Hodgson announced this week that Mascherano wants to leave, and the manager is ready to offer around £7million for Bulgarian midfielder Petrov. However, Luke Young’s move to Liverpool could be in doubt as he wants a pay-off from Aston Villa as he would have to take a drop in wages.

 
Carlo Ancelotti has been promised he will be given cash to strengthen his Chelsea squad by chief executive Ron Gourlay, while the club want to seal the signing of Ramires soon for £17million from Benfica.

 
Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is wanted by former manager José Mourinho at Real Madrid. The Portuguese player wants to link up with Mourinho once again, like he did at Chelsea and Porto. Mourinho meanwhile has revealed he will not be signing Benfica centre-back David Luiz, paving the way for Manchester City to capture him.

 
Manchester City’s Javier Garrido is close to making a £2.5million move to Lazio, while Italian goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is nearing a £5million move to Arsenal.

 
Humberto Suazo could make a move to Wigan Athletic for £7million, but Birmingham City and Sunderland also have eyes on the 29-year-old. Suazo featured for Chile at the World Cup, and currently plays for Mexican side Monterrey.

 
Blackburn will sell Vince Grella to Turkish side Galatasaray, while Mark Hughes, who is set to become Fulham manager, will make Craig Bellamy his first signing. Bellamy is part of a Manchester City clearance this summer, and Tottenham Hotspur also want Bellamy and are set to offer £4million for the Welshman.

 
Manchester United are lining up Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard as the successor to Edwin van der Sar, while manager Sir Alex Ferguson is leading the chase ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal for Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan.

 
Beşiktaş want to bring Aston Villa striker John Carew to Turkey, while Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy has ruled out a move for Michael Mancienne, who was on loan last season at Wolves. Blackpool want to sign Jon Stead, while former Portsmouth goalkeeper David James has been offered a 12-month contract at Bristol City.
