2012 Olympics with Spain...
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463 has accepted the fact that Manchester United lost the Premier League title to Manchester City in cruel fashion on the very last day of the league season but now he is determined to bury his sorrows by winning the gold
medal at the London 2012 Olympics with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
The Manchester United goalkeeper found it tough to adapt to Premier League football when he arrived last summer to Old Trafford. Nonetheless, he has now adapted to the English game’s physical nature as it was visible throughout
his displays for United during the latter half of the Premier League season. United failed to win the Premier League title but they finished level on points with the eventual champions, Manchester City.
Sir Alex’s team lost out in the title race because of their weaker goal difference but now things are looking positive for the Red Devils who are investing in improving their squad in the summer transfer window. De Gea and his
national team colleagues will be under pressure to follow up the senior team’s wonderful display at the 2012 European Championships where Spain captured yet another international title.
De Gea said, "I want to end the season by winning a gold medal to forget about the end of the Premier League campaign. It's incredible how close we came to winning the title. We have to leave that behind us, and focus on the new
season.”
He added, "Even though I didn't win any titles, I have positive feelings about my first season at Manchester United. I have learned a lot and I think I've made a lot of progress. Our goals for next year are winning the Premier
League and the Champions League.”
