David De Gea is the twenty year old Spanish goal keeper who currently plays for Atletico Madrid.
He even started his youth career with Atletico Madrid in 2003, made his way into the reserve team in 2008 and then finally in 2009 made it into the first team squad.
Since then he has made thirty two appearances for the Spanish side. He has also been a part for the Spanish national team since the under seventeen squad from 2007.
He made his way through the under nineteen, twenty and twenty one team to make it into the first team squad in 2009. Since then he has only made seven appearances to represent his country.
David De Gea is called an amazing shot stopper, and has been linked to Manchester United for a transfer in the January window. The Spanish youngster has been drawing a lot of attention from the English Premier League this season and now reports are coming
in that he might make a move to Old Trafford.
Tomasz Kuszczak, the twenty eight year old polish goal keeper of Manchester United who has made only twenty one appearances for the Red Devils since his coming in 2007 has officially announced that he will soon be leaving Manchester United.
So it is thought that this young Spaniard will take up his spot in the Manchester United squad. Manchester United have been reported to have initiated talks with Atletico Madrid and this move just may become a reality next month
Representatives were in talks with Atletico Madrid even last season but nothing came through. When interviewed, the young David De Gea commented on the matter by saying that he knows that Sir Alex Ferguson has already seen him in action and is interested
in him.
The player even said last season that he is open to talks from everyone at the end of the season and can make a move if he gets the right offer from the right people.
De Gea ended the talks by saying that he owes almost everything to Atletico Madrid as it is the team which made him what he is and would love to stay a part of them.
But the fact of the matter is that Manchester United is an extraordinary club perhaps the best in the world so if he can he will make a move to Old Trafford.
