Manchester Untied keeper and Spanish international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463 has gone on to admit that he needs to adapt to life at United as soon as possible. The keeper has so far looked to be caught out of position on a number of occasions, but despite that fact, he claims that isn’t because of the difference in the La Liga and the Premier League.
When talking about the difference between the two leagues and for his need to adapt to the game at United, the keeper is quoted to have said:
"No, football is football here and in any country"
"I have to adapt quickly and improve on the whole of my game."
De Gea was part of the United team that took on Manchester City this past Sunday, in the Community Shield. Despite going down by two goals in the opening half, United went on turn the game around, as they won by three goals to two.
When talking about the game, De Gea is quoted to have said:
"The two goals we conceded in the first half stopped us in our tracks but in the second half we were able to claw back and I think that's the important thing. I'm very happy about the victory"
De Gea in particular, admired the opening goal scored by United. After http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699 and signal the return of United into the game.
De Gea was amongst the players who admired the goal, as he went on to admit that the celebrations from that goal didn’t stop till after the team got into the dressing rooms.
"It was a beautiful goal and the lads in the dressing room were very happy"
In the game against City, De Gea looked to be a little shaky at first. The keeper couldn’t do much to keep out the first goal scored by City, but everyone expected him to do much better against Edin Dzeko’s strike at goal.
Nonetheless, in the second half, the keeper went on to turn his ‘A’ game on as did the rest of United and helped ensure the Red Devils victory over their arch rivals.
The keeper is still in his initial stages at United and is going to take a couple of weeks and maybe months to settle in. However, once he does, it is going to be impossible to stop him.
