David Ferrer bashes Yannick Noah's doping claims on Spanish players – Tennis News
World No.5, David Ferrer, has bashed the retired French tennis player Yannick Noah of accusing Spanish players of using unauthorized methods to overpower their rivals. He accused all the Spanish sportsmen of using medicines before
their matches to give them energy that helps them to defeat their competitors. It seems like the glory of Spain’s triumphs in all major sports like soccer, tennis, cycling and basketball.
Spain won the last soccer world cup and they have a squad that is almost unbeatable on paper. 2 big names from Spain are in the top 5 rankings of tennis as well including World No.2, Rafael Nadal, and World No.5, David Ferrer.
Apparently Spanish players are ruling the sports show as Spanish Laliga is the most competitive football leagues in the world. Barcelona and Real Madrid has been ruling the football show since decades now and their rivalry amongst them is the best in the world.
Rafael Nadal was the first man to dethrone the Swiss Maestro and create problems for him in the field of tennis. But it seems like Noah does not like this Spanish regime in the field of sports and is has made a ‘magic potion' doping
claim on Spanish players.
David Ferrer was very astonished with this act of an ex-tennis player and replied to him with the following words “Your son plays in the NBA, where there are no doping controls. The same is not the best person to talk." World No.5
was pointing towards Joakim Noah, son of Yannick Noah, who plays basketball for Chicago Bulls.
He further added “I think a total ignorance. That a person who has played tennis and knows how the sport says that genuine outrage ... Like I said without reason or think”. This clearly shows that Ferrer is extremely furious at
the claims put forward by the retired French tennis player and wants him to stay quiet.
David Ferrer is one of eight participants that are featuring in the year-end Barclays ATP Tour Finals. In his third appearance here, he will try to outclass his competitors to clinch the most prestigious title.
Sports are already hijacked with doping and match-fixing scandals and statement like that from old players can only hype up the situation and will demoralize the crowd that want the fair play. It is very disappointing to see such
elite players being involved in filthy activities but then coming up with such unproven claims is also hazardous for the sports industry as well.
