David Grace outplays Zhang Anda to earn a place in the professional tour – Snooker News
David Grace beat Zhang Anda 4-1 in the best-of-seven frame quarterfinal in Event 1 of the 2011 World Snooker Q School. This event is being held at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield.
The other players who have joined him on the professional tour so far are Adam Wicheard, Andrew Norman and Robin Hull.

The Chinese professional, Zhang Anda, who previously defeated the likes of Alex Taubman, David Portman, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Kyren Wilson, tripped on the last hurdle as Englishman, David Grace, registered an impressive
4-1 win over him.
Grace dominated the opening frame with break of 40 to lead 1-0. In the second game, Anda got an opportunity to level the frame score but he managed a break of 60 and was punished by his opponent, who responded with
a marvelous clearance of 71 to extend his lead by 2-0.
The Chinese managed in winning the third frame with quick breaks of 44 and 35 before Grace bounced back in the fourth with an event-highest break of 128 to restore his two-frame lead at 3-1, and finally killed the
match in the fifth with another break of 57.
The 26-year-old from Leeds, Grace, who had one season on the main tour back in 2008-09 after winning European Championship, has now regained his place on the professional tour.
While speaking to reporters after the match, Grace said, "I only won a couple of matches in that season although I did have some narrow defeats - I played Jimmy White twice and lost 5-4 and 9-8. I'd like to think
that I'm a better player now and I know what the standard is like. It's unbelievable to be back on, especially as there are so many events now."
The player went on to add, "My only target will be to stay on the tour and to enjoy it. I won my first match in Q School 4-3 on the pink and got better every match after
that."
The overall score-line of the match was 11-65 (Grace 40), 64-71 (Zhang 60, Grace 71), 101-35 (Zhang 44, 35), 0-129 (Grace 128) and 1-73 (Grace 57).
