David Haye: I have heart of a lion while Wladimir Klitschko has heart of a Hyena – Boxing news
The current WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye has passed on another flattering statement against the IBF, WBO and IBO world champion Wladimir Klitschko ahead of their Saturday fight.
The Hayemaker, Haye, who will take on Wladimir Klitschko on July 2, 2011 in a highly anticipated unification bout for the heavyweight titles at Hamburg’s Imtech Arena in Germany, remarked Wladimir has the heart of a Hyena whereas he has the heart of a lion.
“I have the heart of a lion,” Haye told a German newspaper.
Haye believes Dr. Steelhammer, Klitschko, has always picked up easy opponents for him whereas he has stepped in with every sort of a guy.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “I have proved that by beating bigger opponents. How often has Wladimir done that, if ever? He has the heart of a hyena, he looks to fight against old, dead meat.”
The 30-year-old brash Londoner, Haye, will hang his gloves after the bout as he confirmed he has no plans to fight after being 31 years old.
However, the confident pugilist has now shown his interest for Dr. Ironfist, Vitali Klitschko, before he retires. He stated after he knocks out Wladimir, it will be Vitali somewhere in September or October 2011.
“Once I have knocked out Wladimir, then its onto his older brother,” stated the Briton. “I still want two fights. First, it's Wladimir, then I hope Vitali afterwards.”
There is no time left for the Haye-Wladimir mega heavyweight showdown, which is being considered as one of the biggest in the British history. Moreover, it is also being anticipated that this fight will break all of the grossing records as of yet.
However, let’s see whether Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, really has what it takes to knockout one of the best heavyweight boxers of present times.
