David Haye-Wladimir Klitschko almost certain to take place in 2011 – Boxing news
British national heavyweight contender, David Haye has now shown his interest to fight with Ukraine’s national, Wladimir Klitschko fighter of the same division.
However, the fight card has to be decided hopefully within the next few days because the venue is not still decided.
According to some boxing news venue has been agreed upon and that the fight will take place in Germany on 20th June. Sky News has confirmed this fight venue last night.
Fight negotiations were broken between the two fighters before that when Haye made the statement of his withdrawal from a fight against Wladimir because of being injured during the training session. But this time Haye is 100 percent fit and ready to fight
with Wladimir.
David Haye is currently the world boxing association (WBA) World Heavyweight Champion. Haye has fought 26 of his total fights of which he won 25 fights and 23 by winning knockout decision.
This time Haye is in form and going to defend his world boxing organisation (WBO) Heavyweight title for the third time against Klitschko, the one he won in his bout against Nikolai Valuev in Germany in 2009.
Both the fighters are stepping into the ring in their prime time with huge fighting experience that gives the sign of a furious competition between the two.
Although, both Klitschko and Haye have been agreed to be face to face but still contract has to be signed later this week. Total fight prize money will be shared at the ratio of 50-50 between the two contenders.
Fight conformation was made by the Haye when he said, “I've been chasing Wladimir around the negotiating table for the past three months and we've now finally got him where we want him.”
“I'll be chasing Wladimir in exactly the same manner on June 20. He's already showed me his hand through the way he's negotiated. He has never wanted this fight, and was only going to agree to it when the odds were stacked in his favour,” he said.
Hopefully, the fight will be the interesting one for the boxing lovers because during the conferences both the fighters have exchanged trash talk as they have promised to defeat each other.
