David Haye: Wladimir Klitschko cannot change or adopt, he is a robot – Boxing news
David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye has claimed that Wladimir Klitschko is just like a robot he was in his amateur days and he is too big to change or adopt to anything new during the fight.
Haye said therefore, his chances of winning against him are very low.
The current World Boxing Association World Heavyweight Champion, David Haye and the International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organisation, International Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko were both one-on-one
in Monday’s pre-fight press conference.
Both pugilists, who will be in the ring against each other in a unification bout for the heavyweight titles on July 2, 2011 at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany, exchanged a lot of words.
While speaking on his inclusion, Haye remarked, “Wladimir is bigger than he was when he was an amateur, he's more consistent but he is still the same robot from his amateur days - he can't change or adapt and the winner of the fight will have to change and
adapt.”
Meanwhile, Wladimir ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Klitschko and his trainer Manny Steward responded to the Londoner.
Klitschko promised he will give Haye a lesson so that he learns some manners.
“I will give him a lesson in life,” insisted Wladimir.
However, his trainer was more than prepared to support his fighter. He claimed Haye and his trainer both will be surprised by Klitschko’s speed on the fight night.
Steward added he has confirmed from many good fighters who lost against Klitschko and they all told him they were astonished by Klitschko’s speed.
“David and Adam will be surprised by Wladimir's speed,” claimed Steward. “Wladimir will match David for speed and that will ruin any plan. I have spoken to a lot of good fighters after they have lost to Wladimir and nobody can believe his speed.”
There are hardly a few days left now when Haye and Wladimir will be one-on-one in a mega heavyweight showdown in front of a crowd of over 50,000 people. Let’s see who comes out on top.
