David Haye confident ahead of bout with Wladimir Klitschko – Boxing news
The current World Boxing Association’s world heavyweight champion David Haye is pretty confident ahead of his unification bout for the heavyweight titles against Wladimir Klitschko on July 2, 2011 at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany.
The Hayemaker, Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, claimed this fight is going to be a war, which he will win. Haye told the media he wants everyone to be there in the Arena on the fight night, as he does not want
any excuses.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “This isn't going to be a pillow fight, this is going to be war. Make sure you are there, I don't want to hear any excuses. Here we are, this is it, I am ready to do what I have promised to do.”
The 30-year-old Londoner, Haye, also revealed he is going to come up with something absolutely new on July 2. He said he knows Klitschko has watched all of his videos but on the same note, he remarked will not be of any use as he has totally different plans.
Haye in the end called Klitschko a robot as he thinks the 6 ft 6.5” Ukrainian giant cannot change or adopt anything new in the ring. He stated he desperately wants to see the Ukrainian robot malfunction.
“I am delighted he (Klitschko) has been watching all my fights on tapes, because he is going to see something completely different,” said Haye.
“I am day-dreaming about the fight, dreaming about it and we have drawn up the perfect game plan to beat Wladimir. He doesn't come out of the groove, he can't flow, he can't adapt and that will be his downfall,” added Haye.
This is the first unification bout since Klitschko won the World Boxing Organisation title from Sultan Ibragimov back in February 2008.
