David Haye predicts he will knockout Wladimir Klitschko within six rounds – Boxing news
The current World Boxing Association’s world heavyweight champion David Haye has vowed he is going to knockout the International Boxing Federation, International Boxing Organisation, World Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine world heavyweight champion
Wladimir Klitschko within the first six rounds.
The 30-year-old Londoner Haye told the media Klitschko cannot claw his way back if someone puts him out of his comfort zone once and that is the point where he will get a knockout.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “Wladimir panics when he finds himself out of that [comfort] zone. That’s when he gets knocked out. I will be surprised if it goes more than six rounds. He will be on his back by then.”
David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye, who will step in the ring against Wladimir ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Klitschko in a highly anticipated unification bout for the heavyweight titles on July 2, 2011 at Hamburg’s Imtech Arena in Germany, claimed his confidence level is sky
high and that he has never been so confident before in any fight.
“I have never been more confident before a fight than this,” Haye said.
Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, stated people only want a good fight. He said all of the cross-talks become useless once one gets inside the ring, as everyone start expecting results.
He said, “When I get in that ring, what I have said before the fight and in years gone by becomes null and void and irrelevant. All people care about is the sound of the first bell and the referee counting to 10.”
In the end, Haye remarked he is doing every possible thing to make the fight as hard as possible.
“I’m doing everything I can to make it an exciting fight,” he said.
There is no time left now in the Wladimir-Haye mega heavyweight showdown and all that is left to see is whether Haye can really shock the world by beating the 6 ft 6.5” Ukrainian giant, Klitschko.
