David Haye reckons the talking is over and it is time for business – Boxing news
The current World Boxing Association’s world heavyweight champion David Haye has admitted that the time to pass on comments is over now.
The Hayemaker, David Haye, who will take on the International Boxing Federation, International Boxing Organisation, World Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine World Heavyweight Champion, Wladimir Klitschko, in a highly anticipated unification bout for the
heavyweight titles on July 2, 2011 at Hamburg’s Imtech Arena in Germany, knows there is no time left for the cross talks.
The 30-year-old Londoner, Haye, who never stops passing on statements, told the media he will not indulge himself in any cross talks as there is no time left in the biggest fight of his career.
“I just want to get in there and get it on,” the 30-year-old Haye said. “The talking is over and it's time.”
“It makes a nice change in a way to have an early press conference because I don't have that on my mind now,” added Haye.
Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, stated he and Klitschko both have a little more public work ahead of the bout but hopefully they will be doing it on the fight night.
He revealed this stuff is necessary for him as he will not get relaxed.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “We've just got a public work-out to do, a couple more technical sessions and some choreographed stuff we've been training for. It's about keeping it nice and sharp, tight, making sure I don't get too lethargic over
the next week. We'll apply the final touches and do some fine-tuning and come fight night I will be exactly where I want to be.”
There is almost no time left in the Wladimir-Haye mega heavyweight showdown. Let’s see whether Haye really has what it takes to knockout one of the best heavyweight champions of the world, Wladimir Klitschko, in front of an anticipated crowd of over 60,000
people or not.
