David Haye says he will shake hands with Wladimir Klitschko on Sunday – Boxing news
The current World Boxing Association world heavyweight champion, David Haye refused to shake hands with Wladimir Klitschko on Monday saying he will do it once he visits Dr. Steelhammer in the hospital after the bout on July 2, 2011.
The International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organisation, International Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine world heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko met Haye in their final pre-fight press conference last Monday and Haye once again passed on
a lot of statements.
The 30-year-old Londoner, Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, also claimed he is going to knockout Klitschko in a way nobody has ever seen before.
“I'll shake hands with you when I visit you in hospital on Sunday,” he said. “It will be an execution like there has never been seen in boxing before.”
Meanwhile Klitschko, who has won 55 of his 58 fights including 49 by the way of a knockout, responded to his cocky opponent. Klitschko stated Haye is flying up in the air and needs a solid lesson.
Klitschko added Hamburg was the place where he started his career from back in 1996 and once again, he is going to have a very important fight over there. He in the end vowed Haye will be his 50th knockout.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “There has been a lot of hot air about this fight. I am really excited about it. I had my first professional fight in Hamburg back in 1996 and I am looking forward to my 50th knock-out on Saturday night.”
There are only four days left now in this mega heavyweight showdown, which is also being considered as one of the biggest in the British history. However let’s see which one of these two combatants will be the one standing in the end.
